History

Our Faculty of Dentistry, which was established in 2013, is located within the campus of Fırat University, the shining star of the east. One of the primary conditions for Faculty of Dentistry students to receive quality education is a strong academic staff and suitable physical education spaces. In this context, in addition to the appropriate physical spaces where our students can take their courses, the strong and experienced academic staff who have been involved in basic medical sciences within the Faculty of Medicine for 37 years, and the young and dynamic academic staff within the Faculty of Dentistry will be happy to provide the highest quality education to our students. In addition, our main goals are to increase and develop the number of science branches affiliated to the departments within our Faculty and to provide sufficient faculty members for all departments.

 

We are also proud to provide health services, which is our social duty, with our Oral and Dental Health Center. We start our service with the excitement of providing our students and patients with the best and highest quality service at international standards.

 

      Our aim is to have a high-level say in the field of Dentistry in the Eastern Anatolia Region and to train Specialist Dentists and Dentists at the highest standards together with our academics who are confident and follow scientific developments. In addition to educational activities, we aim to provide preventive and treatment services to the people of our region regarding Oral and Dental Health and to serve Turkish Medicine with increasing enthusiasm.

 

In this context; Included in our strategic plan to achieve our goals; It aims to provide quality Dentistry education in line with the mission, vision and strategic goals. We aim to have our Faculty of Dentistry, which was added to our University aiming to carry the identity of being a health center in the Eastern Anatolia Region, to be one of the faculties providing education in accordance with European Union Standards.
