Our Application and Research Center, which was established in 2016 within our faculty of dentistry, started accepting patients in March 2017. Within our center, there are 8 departments including Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Restorative Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Endodontics departments, and 2 Professor Doctors and 5 Associate Professor Doctors in the staff of these departments. There are 17 Doctoral Faculty Members and 45 Research Assistants.

Our center, which first started oral and dental health treatment services with 74 dental units, has 2 Panoramic and Cephalometric devices, 1 Dental Tomography device, 3 Periapical X-ray devices, Central Sterilization unit and Local Intervention Area (4 units). Tertiary health services are provided in our center, and we provide health services to Elazığ Province and its districts, as well as to neighboring provinces such as Tunceli, Bingöl and Muş.

Using developing technologies in the field of dentistry and keeping patient satisfaction and treatment service quality at the highest level are among the main objectives of our Center. Our main institutional priorities are to effectively provide oral and dental health-related treatment services to the surrounding provinces, especially Elazığ province, to contribute to the development of oral and dental health in the region, to ensure that patients reach the health services offered as soon as possible and to ensure that their treatments are carried out effectively.
